Once you have a strong thesis statement in place, how do you organize your paper around it? We will look at specific tips for organizing your ideas and research into clear arguments, choosing a logical order for them, and then using a working outline to keep track of your plan. What are paragraphs? Are they just a way to visually break up writing, or is there more going on? In this workshop, we’ll look at how paragraphs work, discuss how to divide longer arguments into coherent paragraphs, and see how effective paragraphing can bring clarity and flow to your papers.
