Social Media Coordinator

The aim of the position of Part-Time Social Media Coordinator is to assist with designing, executing, and maintaining Midwestern Seminary and Spurgeon College’s social media presence across all platforms.

Part-Time, 20 hrs/week

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day tweets on the primary social media accounts
  • Help create content that promotes awareness, interaction, and participation within various institutional content streams
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to followers’ questions and comments as is appropriate
  • Provide live coverage of major conferences and events as well as reflecting life on campus
  • Works with Communications Team to coordinate ad campaigns with social media strategy
  • Crafts Weekly Social Media Report and attends weekly Comms Team Meeting

Qualifications

  • Experience with personal or organization social media use
  • Familiarity with Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram platforms
  • Familiarity with the basics of Photoshop and/or Canva
  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Adept at working in a team environment
