Spring Picnic
Join us for Midwestern’s annual Spring Picnic on April 14th in conjunction with Preview Day. This year, we will host our 8th annual Student vs. Faculty/Staff Whiffle Ball game. Get here early for a home run derby before we start the game! Also, enjoy inflatables and games for the kids and free dinner, dessert, and snacks! It’s important for mom and dad to have a date night as often as possible. We know that can be challenging, especially trying to find someone to watch your kids. To help students do their best on finals, the Mathena Student Center and Coppenger Library will plan to stay open late. The MSC will be open 8:00pm to 12:00am April 26, 27, May 1, and 2. The library will be open 8:00pm to 12:00am on May 1, and 2. The Office of Student Life & Events is providing a cambro of free coffee April 26-27, and cooler drinks and snacks May 1-2! Library Summer Reading Challenge
All students are invited to participate in the Summer Reading Challenge presented by the Mark T. Coppenger Library staff. As you read books over the summer, the staff will reward you with prizes! FTC New Orleans: Micro-Conference at SBC23
Join Midwestern Seminary Tuesday, June 13 for an FTC Micro-Conference in New Orleans during the Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting. The event will partner with the Send Network and feature Jason Allen, Kevin Ezell, Matt Carter, Vance Pitman, and Tony Merida as guest speakers. Worship will be led by Davy Flowers and John Marc Kohl of The Worship Initiative. The Micro-Conference will start at 12:00p (or immediately after the session) in the New Orleans Theater. Lunch is included.
