Women in Ministry and Scholarship

Interested in residential education alongside like-minded women who desire to lead? Midwestern Seminary now has a way to gain valuable ministry experience — with local mentors — while you pursue your studies.

Women in Ministry and Scholarship is a cohort for selected first-year Masters level female students. This cohort goes beyond the classroom to provide a place for deep conversation, authentic fellowship, and meaningful ministry preparation. Cohort leaders, Christy and Leslie, desire to invest in you as women, offer you a platform to tell your story, and provide mentorship during your time at seminary.

Participants receive a 100% tuition discount for up to 18 on-campus credit hours at the SBC rate during their first year in the program.

Cohort students also have the opportunity to pursue an internship at a local church, 10 hours a week, unpaid, through which you can earn course credit for practicum courses.

Women applying for the academic scholarship must be actively pursuing a master’s degree program with a minimum requirement of 45 credit hours.
