You prepare your mind and heart for a lifetime of ministry in the classroom. Prepare your body for a lifetime of ministry with Midwestern Fitness. Midwestern Fitness exists to glorify God through the training our physical bodies in community. We utilize CrossFit methodology to train our students in group classes. No previous experience with CrossFit is necessary to try out our program; our coaches are trained to assist athletes of all fitness levels.

Abby Bertram came to Spurgeon College in 2019 pursuing the Fusion program. She has been a CrossFit athlete since 2019 and enjoys the competitive community aspect of functional fitness for all levels of fitness.
Peyton Kramer
Peyton Kramer came to Spurgeon College in 2020. His favorite things about CrossFit is learning new skills and exercises that he didn’t know how to do before trying CrossFit.
Information
What to expect in a class
- An explanation of the workout of the day with the coach
- A Scripture reading and prayer
- A warm-up to prime your body
- A workout consisting of varied combinations of weightlifting, gymnastics, and/or cardiovascular movements.
- Bring a water bottle and dress ready to sweat!

- Reserve the class you wish to attend on Wodify.
- Show up and have fun! If you must cancel, please make sure you do so on the Wodify app.
