Jared Kathcart

Dean of Institutional Effectiveness & Registrar, Assistant Professor of Christian Education

Jared Kathcart serves Midwestern Seminary and Spurgeon College as Assistant Professor of Christian Education. In addition to his role on faculty, Kathcart also serves the institution as Registrar and Dean of Institutional Effectiveness. He has worked in a variety of higher education roles within the areas of campus ministry, student life, residence life, Registrar’s Office, student success, and is a member of The American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers. Additionally, Kathcart has served the local church over the years as children’s pastor, youth pastor, church planter, and lead pastor.

Kathcart earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with a minor in Youth Ministry from Southwest Baptist University, in Bolivar, Mo., and a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing an Ed.D. from Midwestern.

Kathcart is married to his college sweetheart, Nikki, and together they have three children- Andie Grace, Rowen, and Emmitt. They enjoy being members of Northside Fellowship, watching professional sports, traveling as a family, and reading.
