A Heart for Argentina: Eduardo Petrecca

A Heart for Argentina Mobile

Buenos Aires, Argentina

How is God at work in Argentina?

I serve in Buenos Aires, Argentina as a bi-vocational pastor, and I have seen God at work in very tangible ways through the local church’s role in bringing hope, stability, and transformation in the midst of significant social and economic challenges. The church has become a steady presence in a context marked by uncertainty and pressure.

In our context, discipleship has become central, not just as a concept but as a lifestyle. I’ve witnessed people move from nominal faith to active, multiplying disciples who impact families, workplaces, and communities. It is especially encouraging to see professionals and leaders embrace their calling in God’s mission, integrating faith and work beyond the church.

How has Midwestern Seminary prepared you?

My time at Midwestern Seminary has strengthened both my theological foundation and practical approach to ministry. The emphasis on integrating theology with real-life ministry application has sharpened my understanding of the church’s role in engaging culture as well as leadership development. Combined with academic rigor and a pastoral heart, it has equipped me to serve with greater clarity and conviction.
