God has not left His people to labor in their own strength or wisdom. He has spoken—and His Word is living, active, and at work among us.
From the first moment it confronts us to the ongoing way it shapes, strengthens, and sustains us, the Word of God does what no human effort can accomplish. Through the Word, God opens the eyes of the blind, binds up the hearts of the weary, and faithfully accomplishes His purposes in the world. In every season of ministry, the Word is enough—powerful to save, sufficient to sanctify, and certain to prevail.
This year’s For the Church National Conference at Midwestern Seminary invites pastors and ministry leaders to rediscover the power and promise of the work of the Word. Come be reminded that God is at work through what He has spoken—and take confidence that as you preach, teach, and minister the Word, it will not return void.
