Faculty Q&A

The slogan “For the Church” directly influences the way I teach. My teaching is not merely for the sake of academic inquiry, but is shaped with the intention that the Church—that is, the body of Christ—can truly understand and apply it in their daily lives.

Teaching at MBTS is one of the significant callings God has entrusted to me. I consider it a sacred responsibility to share with my students the most current and best insights I have discovered through my study, and I commit myself fully to this ministry “for the Church.”

What encourages me most about the next generation of pastors and ministry leaders is their genuine love for Jesus. I see it reflected in their hunger for the Word, their humility in learning, and their desire to serve the Church faithfully. Whether in classroom discussions or in their ministry contexts, many of my students and graduates display a Christ-centered passion that gives me great hope for the future of the Church.
