Biography

Dr. Candice Scott serves Midwestern Seminary and Spurgeon College as Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance.

Dr. Scott holds a Ph.D. in business administration with a concentration in accounting and finance from Trident University International, an MBA from Park University, a Master of Christian Education from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Missouri Western State University. She began teaching at Midwestern in 2018 and has been with the seminary since 2013.

Dr. Scott has taught various courses in accounting and management since 2005. She serves in her local church as the musician, financial administrator, and food pantry coordinator.

She and her husband, Dean, have three children: Kamillia, Timothy, and Justin, and one granddaughter, Sophia.
