Fusion Masters students will earn a 36-hour Master of Arts degree in Intercultural Studies. 27 credit hours are earned through on-campus instruction and mentorship. The remaining 9 are earned on-the-field with IMB missionaries.

COHORT Experience + OVERSEAS IMB Partnership

WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE FUSION MASTERS—a new cohort-based missions degree offered to graduate students at Midwestern Seminary.Participating students can earn their 36-hour masters degree in one year, all while getting equipped to serve overseas through partnerships with local churches, on-campus mentorship, and a short-term summer missions experience with the International Mission Board.

Get On-Campus, Cohort-Based Mentorship

Fusion Masters students take ownership of their faith by facing great responsibility with high expectations in the context of life-on-life discipleship. Students will benefit from time in close proximity to like-minded students and members of Midwestern Seminary’s faculty.

Spend the summer alongside IMB missionaries in one of several IMB affinities across the globe. Students will earn course credit while getting on-the-field experience and further training from established missionaries already serving with the IMB.
