Thank you for filling out a chapel exemption request form. Please describe whatever circumstance you believe merits an exemption from the standard chapel requirement. Please include details including school schedule, work schedule, geography, family, etc.
Students granted exemption status must watch 7 chapel sermons from the semester which they are requesting an exemption and submit 7 chapel reports, summarizing each sermon in 1-2 paragraphs. These sermons do not need to be watched live on livestream. They can be watched on Midwestern’s Vimeo or YouTube channels as recorded sermons. If your exemption is granted, you will be provided a template for your chapel reports.
Please note that exemptions are granted semester-by-semester. You will need to fill out an exemption for each semester you wish to request an exemption.
