Biography

John Meade joined the MBTS faculty in 2025 having taught in the seminary classroom for over thirteen years. He teaches courses in Hebrew Language and Exegesis, Old Testament Literature, Septuagint, and Biblical Theology. His research interests include Origen’s Hexapla, Septuagint, Textual Criticism of the Hebrew Bible, the Canon of Scripture, and Biblical Theology. He also presents papers at scholarly meetings such as the Evangelical Theological Society, the International Organization for Septuagint and Cognate Studies, and the Society of Biblical Literature. He and his wife have four kids. When he is not teaching or writing, he enjoys reading, personal fitness, and travelling with his family.
