Residential Intensives

Registration is Now Open

Spend one week this winter at Midwestern Seminary and Spurgeon College, and connect in person with your professor and classmates in our Winter Week! This week on campus is a great new opportunity to meet and learn from faculty and instructors, connect with students, and experience our campus in person, especially if you live outside of the Kansas City area.

What Is Winter Week?

Winter Week is the on-campus portion of 4-week intensives that meet for 1 week on campus. Immerse yourself in campus life with campus tours, shared meals, giveaways, and more. Each course is cross-listed, meaning both undergraduate and graduate students can participate. Check out the unique features below!

Campus Orientation – Monday morning, students will gather at the Mathena Student Center for donuts (8:00-8:30), then head to the Spurgeon Library from 8:45-9:15 for singing, prayer, orientation, and a brief campus orientation. Class pictures to follow.

Spiritual Enrichment – Each weekday morning and evening, gather with fellow students and instructors for a time of prayer over the day’s class.

Fellowship Meals – Get to know your faculty, instructors and classmates at shared meals throughout the week.

Spurgeon Library Tour – Explore the rich history on display in the Spurgeon Library on Thursday.

Students taking Winter Term classes will gain an intense learning experience and enjoy unique opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth with faculty and fellow students. This will be a Winter Term that will cast a long shadow on your life and ministry.
