Writing Workshop: The Research Process – Getting Started

Writing workshops are free and are open to Midwestern and Spurgeon students of all levels and programs – graduate and undergraduate. All are welcome!

When it comes to beginning the research process, a lot of students get overwhelmed. In this workshop, we’ll give you some concrete and helpful tips for getting started. Learn what a research question is, which types of sources to use and which to avoid, as well as what primary, secondary, and tertiary sources are and how to use each in the research process.
