This one-day seminar in Wichita is designed for current and aspiring preachers and pastors–including men interested in and training for pastoral ministry or various forms of church leadership. This event will sharpen expository preaching and encourage preachers and those aspiring to preach.
PREACHING FROM THE GOSPELS
The pinnacle of the covenants. The revelation and reality of the incarnate Jesus. The exclamation of Immanuel. The accomplishment of justice, salvation, and resurrection. All of this and more comes to us from the four Gospels.
Join us for a day centered on preaching from these earth-shaking, history-shaping narratives. We will look at each of the four and consider:
- What is its main message?
- How does the Gospel magnify Christ?
- How does it use the OT?
- What does it emphasize uniquely compared with the other Gospels?
- What is its outline and structure?
- What points of application must we bring to bear on our church members and visitors?
- What are practical tips for preaching it?
