Faculty Q&A

The “For the Church” vision impacts my classroom in that whether I am teaching students how to parse Hebrew verbs or develop and how to manage a local church budget, I keep in mind that the ultimate end of their education is to build and strengthen Christ’s Church.

I love teaching at MBTS because it is such a unique institution. Our faculty are committed to rigorous and convictional biblical and theological scholarship that is always aimed at the practical advancement of the Great Commission and the expansion of Christ’s Kingdom.

In an age of endless information, students at Spurgeon and Midwestern demonstrate a zeal to attain not just knowledge, but biblical and spiritual wisdom. Students training at Spurgeon College and Midwestern Seminary recognize that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only hope for this generation or any generation, and their diligence to grow in sound doctrine and practical godliness portend great things for the future of the Church.
