Faculty Q&A
“For the Church” is at the core of my counseling classes. I believe counseling is Word-based personal ministry centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ and accomplished in the power of the Holy Spirit. My classes aim to prepare men and women to be faithful counselors of God’s Word for the good of Christ’s church.
I love teaching at MBTS because the leadership, faculty, staff, and students cherish the gospel of Jesus Christ and desire to strengthen local churches for God’s glory.
I am encouraged by the next generation of pastors who exhibit biblical convictions, godly character, and noble aspirations to shepherd the flock of God and care for souls with a biblical philosophy of ministry. I rejoice to see men aspire to the office of pastor who are committed to the sufficiency of Scripture and have a sincere love for the local church.
