Faculty Q&A
As a local church pastor, but moreso simply as a Christian who loves the local church, I find that I approach the classroom experience with a pastoral perspective and aim to encourage my students to see their studies as a means of stirring affections for the church and especially Christ, the church’s head.
The students we attract tend to love Jesus and the mission to tell others about him more than distractions, and the faculty and staff I get to serve alongside are encouraging and cheerful. It’s a very happy campus.
The next generation of pastors and ministry leaders are so much further ahead than my generation was at their age. They care about theological rootedness and biblical fidelity. I think the future of church leadership is bright.
