Faculty Q&A

The “For the Church” vision drives my work in the classroom. As I teach students to prepare sermons and proclaim God’s Word, I am thinking about the churches in which they will serve and preach. The health of the local church in the future depends, to a large degree, on the health of the pulpits – so I am ultimately teaching “For the Church.”

I love the opportunity to shape the next generation of pastors and preachers. Jesus loved the church and gave Himself for her – and I get to play a role in preparing God-called men to serve the church faithfully.

I am encouraged by the next generation’s commitment to Christ and His church. They love Jesus and are eager to learn so that they can be deployed to serve in the local church.
