Faculty Q&A

MBTS exists to serve the church, and as such, everything I do in the classroom aligns with that mission. This foundational purpose grants MBTS a distinct opportunity. My hope is that each assignment, lecture, exam, and conversation within the courses I teach contributes positively to the churches represented by each student.

Because of my appreciation and respect for both biblical higher education and the local church, MBTS is an ideal place for me to serve.

The students we see in our classrooms and in the global campus are eager to serve. From what I am seeing, most students at MBTS are not pursuing an education for personal glory. Most are here to glorify the Lord, learn to better serve His church, and to fulfill the great commission.
