Get Started Today

Take the next step in your ministry training by starting your application to Midwestern Seminary. After you complete the six steps below, you’ll be ready to enroll in your first class!

Step 1

Submit Your Application

Explore our educational offerings and find the perfect fit for your ministry goals.

Step 2

Contact Your Recommendations

Contact each of your recommenders to make sure they received the digital recommendation form.

Step 3

Request Your Transcripts

Request official transcripts from each of your previous institutions.

Step 4

Complete Any Additional Requirements

Certain applications have additional requirements, such as a ministry essay or specific forms.

Step 5

Receive Your Decision

After completing steps 1–4, the Admissions team will contact you within two weeks with your admissions decision.

Step 6

Contact Your Advisor

Once admitted, you'll connect with your advisor and be ready to register for classes!

Funding your seminary training is one of the most important aspects of completing your degree. Through the support of the Southern Baptist Convention and the generosity of our donors, we’re able to offer a variety of scholarships, paid leadership programs, and on-campus employment opportunities to help students obtain their education while adding value to their seminary experience.
