Salt Network + MBTS Partnership

Customized Theological Training for The Salt Network

Midwestern Seminary is now offering the Master of Christian Studies designed specifically for Salt Network ministry leaders. Through this partnership, Salt Network staff from across the country will go through the same online degree at the same time in a custom cohort, studying foundational theological truths for ministry with students who share the same ministry philosophy.

Foundational Training

The 36-credit Master of Christian Studies (MCS) features coursework in Old and New Testament survey, Interpreting the Bible, theology, and practical ministry. The MCS will equip Salt Network students to serve faithfully and prepare them for further theological education. All credits from the MCS can be applied toward the MDiv or select other master’s degrees.

With Salt Company Leaders

Salt Network residents, staff, leaders, directors, and planters from across the country will go through the same online degree at the same time in a custom cohort. This means that you’ll explore deep truths for ministry with like-minded brothers and sisters who share the same DNA for church planting in the university context.

For the Church, From Your Church

Salt Network staff will experience community, collaboration, and formation via live video lectures, class discussions, and ministry projects fully online and with a faculty fully committed to the local church. You’ll study with some of the Church’s leading scholars while remaining in your local church context.
