Perhaps a brief description would be along the lines of “a gifted teacher with the heart of a shepherd.” We are seeking a man desiring to serve the Lord through serving His church, in a full-time staff position, to join our team of elders to share in the feeding, oversight, and shepherding of the flock.
We desire a man who is particularly gifted and skilled in preaching and teaching, as that would be his priority and focus. As a member of the team of elders, he would also share in other shepherding responsibilities as they arise.
We are a congregation of around 150 currently, having experienced steady growth over the past few years. Our congregation is a healthy blend of generations, with a high proportion actively serving our body. Our previous preaching pastor was unexpectedly called home to the Lord in July, 2024, after serving here for about 10 ½ years; hence, our interest in someone to share in the preaching, teaching and shepherding of our people.
