Senior Pastor

Pisgah Baptist Church, Excelsior Springs, MO, is seeking a FULL-TIME SENIOR PASTOR. Pisgah is a multigenerational church with an average attendance of around 175 people, located 25 miles northeast of downtown Kansas City. Our goal is to honor Christ and glorify Him. We are seeking a man who believes Scripture is God’s true Word and our final rule and authority. He must have a shepherd’s heart, an affection for God’s people, a heart for discipleship and evangelism, and be a patient teacher. He must also affirm as guide the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, and apply careful, convictional, biblical exegesis in his expositional preaching with the ability to resonate with the congregation. Qualified applicants will be an ordained Southern Baptist. Must have, at minimum, a Master’s degree from an accredited seminary, Master of Divinity or greater preferred.
