Join Our Mission at New Mexico Baptist Children’s Home!

For over a century, New Mexico Baptist Children’s Home (NMBCH) has been on a mission to offer hope to children and families in need. We are looking for dedicated married couples to join us as Houseparents at our campuses in Portales, NM, and our soon-to-open location in Estancia, NM.

·         Provide a Stable Home: You will live in a large home on the NMBCH campus and parent up to nine resident children.

·         Competitive Salary: $65,000 per couple.

About Our Locations:

·         Portales, NM: A welcoming town with 17,000 residents, home to Eastern New Mexico University and near Cannon Air Force Base. Rich in archaeological history and community spirit.

·         Estancia, NM: A beautiful rural community, just an hour from Albuquerque, with ample mountains and outdoor spaces to explore.

Requirements:

·         Committed Christians: Actively involved in a Southern Baptist Church.

·         Passionate Caregivers: A strong calling to work with children from hard places.

·         Team-Oriented: You will work with a team of committed staff who are all focused on providing a safe and loving home for our children.

Houseparents may have up to two dependent children (preferably over the age of 10) and one well-behaved pet (case-by-case basis).
