Missouri Baptist Disaster Relief Summer Internship Assistant-Job Description
Dates: May 25, 2025- August 1, 2025
Job Overview:
We seek a dedicated, hardworking assistant who desires to grow professionally, personally, and spiritually.
The assistant reports to the Disaster Relief Collegiate Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily routine intern activities.
- Live in the MODR Readiness Center for ten weeks with the collegiate coordinator and the other interns.
- Assist the collegiate coordinator with day-to-day operations and supervision.
- Help with driving during the summer.
- Meet, communicate, and plan with the collegiate coordinator before the summer starts.
Qualifications:
- At least 25 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing and able to drive various vehicles, including a passenger van and pickup truck pulling a trailer
- For Missouri residents, a Class E (Chauffer’s License). Options are available for non-Missouri residents
- Desires to work with collegiate students
- Experience in Disaster Relief is helpful but not required
- Will read and agree with The Baptist Faith & Message 2000
- Must be flexible
- Possess organizational skills
- Have a teachable spirit
