Midwestern Women’s Institute Coordinator – PT

JOB PURPOSE

To equip and train women preparing for Christian service in their homes, local churches, and other ministry settings including international missions, through class instruction, formal and informal discipleship, and structured events.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • MWI program facilitation, including.
  • Collaborate with the registrar’s office, academic services, and global campus on course postings, applications, and facilitation of on-campus and online courses for the MWI program.
  • Coordinate participation and payment for online and on-campus instructors.
  • Communicate pertinent program information to students and prospective students.
  • MWI course development
  • Improve and maintain MWI online presence.
  • MWI marketing via newsletter & social media
  • Develop and maintain an International Missions Board certification program.
  • Oversee all MWI events.
  • Oversee all MWI volunteers.
  • Oversee and manage all MWI resources.
  • Prompt and courteous response to all incoming phone calls, phone messages, emails and/or texts.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Including, however not limited to:

  • Christian with high integrity, actively pursuing a relationship with God.
  • Four-year degree preferred.
  • Experience in women’s ministry, preferred.
  • Prior administration experience required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) as well as navigating social media platforms.
  • Able to multi-task, analyze workload, and prioritize as necessary for the benefit of the department.
  • Able to take the initiative to complete the duties of the position without the need of direct supervision.
  • Able to learn and utilize new skills and information to improve job performance and efficiency.
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as a part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must possess a positive attitude.
  • Able to show a desire and willingness to learn.
  • Must be able to pass background screening, including driving record.
  • Eligible to work in the United States

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • No more than twenty-nine (29) hours per week
  • Shared office environment
  • May be required to work some evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events for the MWI.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequently required to sit or stand for periods of time at a desk or computer station.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
