Lost Pines Cowboy Church, Elgin, Texas. We are located 20 miles east of Austin where our community is experiencing rapid growth.

 

Location: 334 Roemer Road, Elgin, Texas

Reports to: Executive Board of Directors, Church Size: 125- 200

Job Type: Full-Time, salaried: $70,000

 

Position Summary: Lost Pines Cowboy Church seeks to hire a Lead/Senior pastor who is called by God, empowered by the Spirit, and faithful to the teachings of Jesus to lead our church. We are a vibrant community seeking a pastor who loves and shepherds the ministries of the church, is passionate to reach the next generation of non-believers and believers in our community, lives a lifestyle of discipleship and empowerment of all seekers, and models missional connection to the surrounding community.

 

Executive Leadership & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all staffing: Provide primary oversight to the staff team, including leading, planning and execution of staff meetings. Holding regularly scheduled individual meetings with staff members and overseeing staff evaluations.
  • Establish measurable objectives for all ministry staff in keeping with the purposes of the church.
  • Conduct regular performance assessments of pastoral staff members and ensure regular performance assessments of all administrative staff members.
  • Lead worship services and deliver inspiring sermons.
  • Provide pastoral care and compassionate, empathetic support to congregation members in times of need.
  • Connect with a diverse congregation using exceptional communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with a passion for empowering others.
  • Focus on outward community to develop disciples for Christ
  • Uphold the values and mission of Lost Pines Cowboy Church
  • Guide and teach congregants to become ministers to the community.
  • Provide effective leadership, ministry development, and community outreach

 

This position requires a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Bible, Theology, Pastoral Ministry, or a ministry-related field.

 

This individual should have a minimum of two years’ experience as a Lead, Assistant or Teaching Pastor in a growing congregation.
