First Baptist Church Chillicothe is seeking a Worship Leader Intern to serve from mid-May to mid-August 2025. This part-time internship is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking hands-on ministry experience while earning some income for the next school year.
Our Worship Leader will be on maternity leave from mid-June through early to mid-August. The intern will work alongside her from mid-May until her leave, learning how we plan, develop, and lead worship services. After mid-June, the intern will assume responsibility for organizing and leading Sunday worship and coordinating with the volunteer teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Meeting with the Pastor to discuss upcoming sermon themes and events.
- Planning and leading Sunday worship services.
- Organizing and rehearsing with the worship team.
- Selecting music.
- Managing service logistics and technology needs.
This is a paid internship (hours and compensation to be discussed). Additionally, FBC Chillicothe is willing to facilitate course credit with MBTS if possible.
