Our church is looking to hire an associate pastor with an eye toward becoming the next senior pastor (Lord-willing). The prospective pastor should be gifted in teaching/preaching — that is, he loves theology and is able to communicate the Bible with passion/conviction/clarity. I (Cliff) have been pastor here for thirty years; our church is truly a family, diverse and thriving. We recently completed a modest building renovation project. We average 125 on Sunday mornings, and there is more ministry opportunity than what I can provide on my own. I am wanting to prioritize the transition into my own diminished and supportive role in the years ahead.
