Enrollment Management Representative – FWS

 JOB PURPOSE

Assist the Financial Aid and Admissions departments in performing regular tasks and processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 Admissions and Financial Aid Inbox Management:  Sort and process daily mail and email, load documents into database systems, and monitor forms that have been submitted to the offices.

  • Admissions Administrative Tasks: Manage and organize Admissions inventory, prepare and send Admissions mail, and assist Office Coordinator with other administrative tasks.
  • Financial Aid Processing:  Assist Financial Aid staff in data entry, data management, and solving problems within the office.
  • Military and Veteran Benefits Assistance: Assist the Military Education Liaison with processes and communication related to military and veteran benefits.
  • Reception:  Welcome guests to the Admissions and Financial Aid offices and direct them to the proper team member or office.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

MUST BE CURRENT STUDENT OF MBTS OR SPURGEON COLLEGE, AND

MUST QUALIFY FOR THE FEDERAL WORK STUDY PROGRAM VIA FAFSA

Including

  • Christian with high integrity, currently pursuing a relationship with God
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Able to use basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Edge.
  • Able to multi-task, analyze workload, and prioritize as necessary for the benefit of the department
  • Able to take the initiative to complete the duties of the position without the need of direct supervision.
  • Able to learn and utilize new skills and information to improve job performance and efficiency.
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as a part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must show a desire and willingness to learn
  • Must possess a positive attitude
  • Able to pass background screening, including driving record
  • Eligible to work in the United States

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • The employee will work at a desk with a computer for 3-5 hours a day, 4-5 days per week.
  • On occasion, the employee will need to work in storage areas to manage and organize office inventory.

PHYSICIAL REQUIREMENTS

 Frequently required to sit or stand for periods of time at a desk or computer station

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
