Donor Relations Intern

Found & Woven is seeking a motivated and personable Donor Relations Intern to support our efforts in cultivating and stewarding relationships with donors who fuel our mission of Found and Woven, a dedicated organization committed to fostering physical, emotional, and spiritual healing of individuals suffering from the trauma of an abortion experience. This role will assist the development team in expressing gratitude, maintaining donor records, and enhancing engagement with supporters. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about nonprofit work, has strong interpersonal skills, and is eager to contribute to a ministry that brings hope and restoration to our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Donor Appreciation: Assist in drafting and sending personalized thank-you letters, emails, and cards to donors, ensuring timely and heartfelt acknowledgment of their contributions.
  • Database Management: Update and maintain accurate donor records in the ministry’s Keela CRM system, including contact details, giving history, and communication preferences.
  • Communication Support: Help create donor-facing materials, such as newsletters, impact reports, or updates on healing programs, to keep supporters informed and inspired.
  • Event Assistance: Support donor-related events, such as appreciation gatherings, fundraising dinners, or virtual webinars, by managing RSVPs, preparing materials, or assisting with follow-up.
  • Research: Identify potential donor prospects (individuals, businesses, or foundations) by researching aligned organizations or individuals who may support the ministry’s mission.
  • Gift Processing: Assist with logging donations, preparing deposit reports, and ensuring proper documentation for financial reconciliation.
  • Stewardship Projects: Contribute to creative initiatives, such as donor recognition campaigns, video testimonials (with consent), or small gift mailings to strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the development team and leadership to align donor relations efforts with the ministry’s goals and values.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • This is an unpaid internship.
