About Connection Point Church
Connection Point is located in Raytown, Missouri, a part of the Kansas City Metro area. Over the last few years, Connection Point Church has undergone a transformative process of revival and renewal and has seen God at work in tremendous and exciting ways! We are committed to a mission strategy that focuses on five key mission catalysts: Worship, Grow, Serve, Give, and Go.
We currently offer a weekly 9:30am Sunday worship service led by a praise team, 90+ voice choir, and a 25+ band and orchestra. We average a weekly worship attendance of 800. On- and off-campus small group attendance averages 350. We offer opportunities for all ages to participate in children, student, adult, and senior adult choirs.
Connection Point Church is actively engaged in our community. We host our community neighbors at our annual Family 4th Celebration, which combines a patriotic service honoring our military with outdoor festivities featuring free food and fun. We also host Create-A-Camp, a week of music, sports, fine arts, VBS, and more, for hundreds of families in our community each summer. During the Easter and Christmas seasons, our combined choirs (Kids, Student, Celebration, and Jubilee Choirs) and orchestra present programs that tell the gospel story through song and, oftentimes, through drama.
Connection Point is also known in the community for our Recreation Outreach Center (ROC). We have over 1,700 members at the fitness center, most of which are not a member of, or affiliated with, any church, which presents a prime outreach opportunity.
In 2006 we began a ministry to the community known as Hope Network. Every year tens of thousands of dollars go back into our community in goods and services that include food, clothes, job training, addiction recovery, and other services and support.
We are a mission-minded church and are very active in the local community, serving the needs of families and teachers through our local school district. We also support local mission projects, which include the Milestone Youth Center, City Union Mission, Resource Health Services, Missouri Disaster Relief, and many others.
We also serve globally by supporting the IMB and ongoing mission projects in Guatemala, France, Kenya, Jamaica, and Cambodia. In addition, mission trips have included serving schools and churches in India and Thailand.
