CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH SEEKING A BI-VOCATIONAL PASTOR

About:

Calvary Baptist Church a small congregation with a vision of growing, is seeking a bi-vocational pastor.

We are a Southern Baptist Church in North Platte, NE.  Our church was established in 1961.  Our current services average thirty-six on Sundays.  During the school year we have Calvary Children’s Club on Wednesday evening, Men’s Bible Study Saturday morning, and Women’s Bible Study at the Women’s Resource Center on Tuesday mornings.  We have celebrated thirty-five baptisms in the last 10 years.

We are a caring church with generational diversity and a love for children.  We long to grow and serve our Lord Jesus Christ together in obedience with outreach, care, and discipleship.

North Platte’s population is 23,680 with seven major employers.  North Platte was awarded Community of the Year 2023 by the Governor.   There is a lot of construction going on in North Platte right now, new industries, renovation of the mall shopping center, a new recreation center and update/additions of the city pool at Cody Park.  We have beautiful parks with lots of sports activities and recreation.  You can get across town in 13 minutes and to Lake Maloney south of town in 10 – 15 minutes. We are the home of the world’s largest railroad yards and the largest hospital in Western Nebraska.
