Administrative Assistant – Institutional Relations – FWS

JOB PURPOSE
To provide administrative support to the staff and mission of the Institutional Relations Division.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Institutional Relations Office Administration:
    • Track, upkeep, and restock inventory and supplies.
    • Assist in maintaining an accurate budget by tracking expenses and updating financial records.
    • Support the maintenance and updating of accurate Alumni records.
    • Special administrative projects.
      • Update and improve the organization and efficiency of processes.
  • Institutional Relations Events:
    • Aid in the development and execution of divisional events.
    • Communicate with divisional personnel on upcoming events.
    • Coordinate event logistics (location, setup, A/V, food, etc.).
    • Assist with the food and drink setup for Leadership Project.
  • Aid the SVP and Executive Assistant with misc. tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
MUST BE CURRENT STUDENT OF MBTS OR SPURGEON COLLEGE, AND
MUST QUALIFY FOR THE FEDERAL WORK STUDY PROGRAM VIA FAFSA.
To include, however not limited to:
  • Christian with high integrity, currently pursuing a relationship with God.

  • Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Suite equivalents.
  • Must show a desire and willingness to learn.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to pass a background screening, including driving record.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Varying shifts during regular office hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
  • No more than twenty hours per week.
  • Shared office environment.
PHYSICIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Frequently required to sit or stand for periods of time at a desk or computer station.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Able lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
