Federal Work-Study Supervisor Checklist

  1. Complete annual FWS Supervisor Training
  2. Job Posting Requisition
    1. Submit Job Requisition Request via Applicant Tracking System (ATS) on Paycom Client Side
    2. HR will review and post on the Midwestern Job Board
  3. Interview potential candidates
  4. Making an Offer
    1. Submit offer letter via ATS
    2. HR will review, approve, and send the offer letter to the candidate
    3. Submit PAN to HR at time of offer
  5. Offer Acceptance – HR will perform the following tasks
    1. Move candidate from ATS to Employee Self Onboarding in Paycom
    2. Email welcome letter to new hire with necessary information
    3. Request work email address from IT
  6. Candidate completes onboarding – HR will:
    1. Complete the background screening
    2. Email new hire to schedule I9 documentation appointment to be completed within first three days of employment.
  7. Welcome New Hire
    1. Introduce new hire to other team members
    2. Provide information regarding facilities (coffee, water, restrooms, etc)
    3. Complete and submit the FWS Student/Supervisor Agreement to Financial Aid at [email protected], and to Human Resources at [email protected]. If you do not already have a copy of this document, please reach out to Financial Aid and they would be happy to provide it.
  8. Train and mentor new hire
