DESCRIPTION:The 9th annual Midwestern Family Christmas provides a beautiful night of celebration and worship through music as we usher in the Christmas season on the campus of Midwestern Seminary and Spurgeon College. \nSponsored by the Department of Worship Ministries\, this event is free\, family-friendly\, and open to everyone–from faculty\, staff\, students\, and their families to local churches and members of the surrounding community. \nAttendees will hear sounds of the season from our Voices of Midwestern Choir\, the North Oak Collective worship team\, and various instrumental and vocal soloists\, and will join their voices as\, together\, we all sing beautiful Christmas carols! \nA reception sponsored by Student Life and Events will follow.

SUMMARY:Voices of Midwestern Spring Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Worship Ministries will host its annual Voices of Midwestern Spring Concert at 7:00pm on Friday\, April 29. The theme of this year’s concert will be Saved and Surrendered and will feature the sounds of songs about salvation. The concert will bring back familiar hymns like “Just As I Am” and “Softly & Tenderly\,” as well as new songs like “I Got Saved” as sung by the popular group Selah. \nThis event is free and open to the public.
