Dr. Minjae Kwon is the Assistant Professor of Christian Education in Korean Studies and the Director of Korean Graduate Studies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He earned a D.Ed.Min. degree from Midwestern and a M.Div. degree from Korea Baptist Theological Seminary.
Prior to coming to Midwestern, he served as a regional supervisor at Paidion Ministry in Korea for four years and trained next-generation leaders from the perspective of the Christian worldview. Dr. Kwon also served as director of Church Education at Yulmin Church.
He is a co-writer of Teacher’s Guide for a Beginner, which is designed to equip new Sunday school teachers educationally.
Dr. Kwon is originally from Daejeon, South Korea, and is happily married to Saetbyeol, and together they are expecting their first child.
