Kenette Harder

Ms. Kenette Harder serves as library archivist and professor of library science at Midwestern Seminary.

She earned the Master of Library Science from Texas Woman’s University in 1978 after earning the Bachelor of Arts in History and Psychology from William Jewell College in 1977.

Ms. Harder most recently served as the director of library services and associate professor of library and information sciences at Midwestern from 2015 to July 2020. She came to Midwestern after having served as the acquisitions and collection development librarian at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo. She has held many other roles in library services since serving at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary beginning in 1978.

She is currently serving on the board of the Baptist Homes & Healthcare Ministries in Missouri.  She has also served as a volunteer in a variety of ministries at several churches through the years.
