Ready Youth Conference
Amidst a culture shifting like the tide, it is imperative that students are ready to defend “the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3). To that end, mark your calendars for Ready, a student conference held in Kansas City, MO on January 24-25, 2020. This conference features the following guest speakers: Sam Bierig, Cam Triggs, Jared Bumpers, Noe Garcia, and Jared Wilson.
Additionally, we will host a concert with Christian hip-hop artist, KB on January 24th. Concert tickets are included in conference registration. Tickets for the concert only are $20.00.
Dean, Spurgeon College
Kansas City, MO
Samuel Bierig serves as the undergraduate dean and as assistant professor of Biblical Studies at Spurgeon College. He also serves as an elder at Liberty Baptist Church. Sam is pursuing his Ph.D. in Theology at Midwestern and holds degrees from Southern Seminary, and Ouachita Baptist University. He is under contract with Rainer Publishing to author a book on church leadership “How to Use Your Words for Good” (working title).
Lead Pastor, Grace Alive Church
Cam Triggs loves Jesus. God saved Cam from wrath, sin, death, and Satan in 2005. He began studies at University of Central Florida as a Religious Studies major & continued his education at Reformed Theological Seminary where he earned a Masters of Arts in Theological Studies. After three years of student ministry at Shiloh Church under the leadership of HB Charles Jr., he followed the call to start a gospel-centered multiethnic church. He completed a 9-month church planting residency at the Summit Church where JD Greear is the Lead Pastor. Cam now enjoys loving God & loving people at Grace Alive Church. More importantly, he is married to his beautiful best friend Tymara Triggs and the proud father of two, Cameron Triggs II & Charis Elyse Triggs.
Director of Student Life & Events
Kansas City, MO
Jared Bumpers is the Director of Student Life and Events and serves as Assistant Professor of Preaching and Ministry at Midwestern Seminary. Prior to joining the team at Midwestern, Jared served for over a decade as a student pastor, then as an associate pastor of preaching, at a church in southwest Missouri. He has also served as an interim pastor and spoken at numerous conferences throughout the United States.
Jared C. Wilson
Assistant Professor of Pastoral Ministry, Spurgeon College, Author in Residence, and General Editor, For the Church
Kansas City, MO
Jared Wilson serves as Assistant Professor of Pastoral Ministry, Spurgeon College, Author in Residence, and General Editor, For the Church. In addition, he serves as the director of the Pastoral Training Center at Liberty Baptist Church. He’s the author of numerous books
Jared is not a catalytic “agent of change” or a visionary anything. He is a failed church planter and once made a mess of his marriage. He likes food too much and worries way too much about what people think, and he’s definitely not all that he’s cracked up to be. After 20 years of ministry, he’s mainly learned that he’s kind of a nincompoop. But he knows Jesus loves him.
Senior Pastor, North Phoenix Baptist Church
Dr. Noe Garcia is the Senior Pastor at North Phoenix Baptist Church in Phoenix, Arizona. He holds a Doctorate of Ministry and Executive Leadership from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He serves on the Evangelism team for the NAMB, is a Trustee for Union University, and serves on the ERLC leadership council team, and is the Second VP of the SBC. He and his wife have 4 children.

Three studio releases in and KB is at his creative zenith. For years, the Tampa native has been something of an outlier in hip-hop, firmly placing a thumb print on the game while invoking the power of spiritual conviction. His lyricism is impassioned and astute, and he won’t be bent against his will. Given his commanding presence and consistent output, it comes as no surprise that the world has taken notice. The track “100” from the EP of the same name, took home the Dove Award for Rap/Hip-Hop Song of the Year in 2014. And his last LP, 2015’s Tomorrow We Live, garnered both critical and commercial acclaim, earning a Stellar Award nomination for Rap/Hip-Hop Gospel CD of the Year and debuting on the Billboard charts as the No.1 Christian Album and the No. 4 Rap Album overall.
