FTC Women’s Pre-Conference

For the first time ever, we’re hosting a For The Church Women’s Pre-Conference in conjunction with our national conference. This event exists to encourage women who are in the throes of ministry in their homes, their churches, and throughout the world.

Our theme for this conference is Gospel-Centered Women in a Post-Modern World. Speakers include Karen Allen, Abigail Dodds, Christine Hoover, and Trillia Newbell. This pre-conference is only $20! We hope to see you there!

Speakers

Karen Allen

Karen Allen is the wife of Jason Allen, fifth President of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She is also mother to five children: Anne-Marie, Caroline, William, Alden & Elizabeth. She has a passion to see women grow in God’s Word, and serves as the founder and leader of Midwestern Women’s Institute which provides a course of study to prepare ladies for local church ministry.

Abigail Dodds

Abigail Dodds is a wife, mother of five, and graduate student at Bethlehem College & Seminary. She’s a regular contributor to Desiring God and the author of (A)Typical Woman: Free, Whole, and Called in Christ (2019).

Christine Hoover

Christine Hoover is a pastor’s wife, mom of three boys, host of the “By Faith” podcast, and author of several books, including Searching for Spring: How God Makes All Things Beautiful in Time, Messy Beautiful Friendship, and From Good to Grace. Her work has appeared on Christianity Today, The Gospel Coalition, and For the Church. Originally from Texas, Christine and her family live in Charlottesville, Virginia, where they planted a church in 2008. Find her at her home online at GraceCoversMe.com.

Trillia Newbell

Trillia Newbell is the author of Sacred Endurance, If God is For Us, a 6-week Bible study on Romans 8, a children’s book, God’s Very Good Idea: A True Story of God’s Delightfully Different Family and more.
