For the Church Conference

As the cultural winds rise to gale-force bombardment against Christ’s Bride, we see the need to re-double our commitment to the community for whom Jesus died. The bitterness and betrayals from outside the church are ongoing. The divisions and derisions inside the church sadly roll on. And yet despite her blemishes, despite her blind spots, the safest place spiritually to be is inside the Body against which the gates of hell will not prevail.

In spite of her sin and in the light of Christ’s gospel, it’s time for every believer to re-affirm and re-commit to both the glory and the Great Commission that he has given the Church.

For The Church exists because Midwestern Seminary aims to train ministry leaders for the magnification of God through the building up of the local church. At this year’s For The Church National Conference, we want to put our heart on display for Christ’s glory as manifested in The Mission and Majesty of The Church. We pray this two-day event will be a time of refreshing and rejoicing for you and your ministry team.
