Midwestern Praise Team

In our Christian lives, music plays an important role in how we worship our Lord Jesus Christ! The praise we give Him is instrumental in our daily lives. The importance of musical praise is emphasized at Midwestern as well.

The Midwestern Praise Team is a group of students who actively lead in worship both on campus, in local area churches, and at various off-campus events during the fall and spring semesters. The Praise Team also leads the student body in worship during chapel one day a week. Their musical selections are both traditional and contemporary.

The Praise Team includes vocal and instrumental training, with rehearsals being held on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the fall and spring semesters from 12:30-1:20 p.m. in the chapel. To become a part of this group, auditions are required with the director of music. We’d love for you to try out!
