Thank you for joining us as we seek to provide theological education for the Church. Registration is open for Spring 2017 classes, both on campus and online.

In addition to assembling an incredible selection of courses to equip you and help you progress toward the completion of your degree, we want to highlight some unique opportunities available to you.

Evangelism & Missions Trips

For all students, local to Kansas City or residing some distance away from campus, there are two opportunities to receive credit for participation in Evangelism and Missions Trips this Spring for both graduate and undergraduate students.

New Orleans: Earn credit for the Evangelism Practicum course and join Dr. Tom Johnston in New Orleans, LA, February 2017 for evangelism outreach during Mardi Gras. Learn More

Rio De Janeiro, Brazil: Earn credit for the Missions Practicum course and join Dr. Robin Hadaway in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, April 7-16, 2017 for evangelism outreach and working with local missionaries in this needy city. Learn More

The Life and Theology of Charles Spurgeon

Our own Curator of Midwestern’s Spurgeon Library, Dr. Christian George, will offer an on-campus elective course for graduate and undergraduate students on the Prince of Preachers, Charles Spurgeon. As electives like this are not offered every semester, this is a great opportunity to learn and study from a gifted historical theologian about one of the most important preachers in history.

New Testament Backgrounds

Our esteemed professor of New Testament, Dr. Alan Tomlinson, will offer an on-campus elective course for graduate students covering New Testament Backgrounds. As we continue to prioritize the essential study of biblical languages and biblical studies for preparation for ministry, this is a great opportunity to learn and study from a gifted and passionate Bible scholar and grow in your study of the Bible itself.

TGC17 National Conference Course: The Pastor and the Gospel

Whether you live in Kansas City or some other part of the United States, if you plan to attend the biannual Gospel Coalition National Conference in Indianapolis, IN April 3-5, 2017, you can receive credit by enrolling in a special course taught by Owen Strachan and Jared Wilson called “The Pastor and the Gospel.” For graduate students: this course will count as the required Leadership Practicum course, or, if you have already taken that course, you can take the Personal Leadership Practicum course as an elective. For undergraduate students, you can take it as the Personal Leadership Practicum course as an elective. Register Now

We look forward to having the opportunity to meet you in person in Kansas City, online, or in the remotest parts of the earth as we continue to prepare men and women for the church.
