ABOUT MBTS
Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary is primarily a graduate professional school, serving as a community of higher learning for those men and women called to Christian ministry. Owned by the Southern Baptist Convention, Midwestern Seminary operates in covenant with the churches of the Convention and has keyed its purpose and its doctrinal and moral stance to official convention positions and actions. The purpose of Midwestern Seminary is to biblically educate God-called men and women to be and to make disciples of Jesus Christ throughout the world. Midwestern Seminary is located approximately six minutes from downtown Kansas City, Mo., on more than 200-plus acres of greenbelt.
