FUSION

We don’t have anything against college — FUSION is college. We just make the world our classroom and your life an accredited course. FUSION is the ultimate freshman experience. Quite simply, FUSION is a year of college that instills in its graduates an extraordinary commitment to personal discipleship, Christian leadership, and global evangelism. Most of all, FUSION equips students to walk with Jesus for a lifetime!

FUSION is more than a program — it’s a process. There are two phases designed to help prepare you for the challenges of international ministry and everyday life!

Phase 1 takes place in Kansas City, Mo., at Midwestern Baptist College, SBC. There you’ll receive classroom work and intense personal and spiritual training. A teamwork aspect is introduced immediately upon arriving, and you’ll experience various challenges to help develop trust and respect for other class members. The students will also participate in the ministries of local churches as interns.

During Phase 2, students travel overseas for approximately four months to serve in international ministry and to put what they’ve learned to the test! Students are matched up with international missionaries and gain an understanding about the daily lives of their mentors. Taking part in this allows participants to learn more about local customs and courtesies, religions and history as well.
