Under the leadership of President Phil Roberts, the Board of Regents was established to assist in the work of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary & College, SBC. It is comprised of men and women from across our nation who have a special interest in Midwestern and theological education in general. They come from varied professions (ministerial, educational, legal, medical, self-employed businesspersons) and bring with them their expertise. This wealth of knowledge is a great benefit to MBTS and its mission: “Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary serves the church by biblically educating God-called men and women to be and make disciples of Jesus Christ."

The Board of Regents meets twice yearly, in the Spring and Fall, at the same time as our Board of Trustees meeting, and spouses are encouraged to attend. The Regents have separate sessions from the Trustees, but sometimes meet and enjoy activities together.

If you are interested in serving on the Board of Regents please contact Anthony W. Allen, Vice President of Institutional Advancement, for additional information at (816) 414-3720 or iaoffice@mbts.edu.
