FINANCIAL AID - TUITION ASSISTANCE AND VETERAN BENEFIT
Tuition Assistance
If your employer or other agency (like Vocational Rehabilitation) is going to assist you in paying for all or a portion of your education, you will need to follow these following steps:
- Obtain and send a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility to the Financial Aid Office
- Enroll in classes
- Send a copy of your class schedule to the Financial Aid Office each semester you wish to receive benefits.
- Notify the Financial Aid office if there is any change.
Veterans Benefits
Midwestern participates in the VA Education programs. If you believe that you qualify for VA benefits, you can apply and check your eligibility at http://www.gibill.va.gov Once you are granted benefits, and to receive VA funds, do the following:
- Send a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility to the Financial Aid Office
- Enroll in class
- Send a copy of your class schedule to the Financial Aid Office each semester you wish to receive benefits.
- Notify the Financial Aid office if there is any change.
The Financial Aid Office will certify you in those classes and payments will be sent by the VA in 5-7 weeks.
