Question: “How much should I expect an online course to cost?”

Here are the costs associated with taking an online course as of 8/1/09:*

*Please note that tuition and fee costs change from time to time. The following information should be checked against our current Tuition & Fees schedule for accuracy. All billing from MBTS will be based on the current schedule at the time of enrollment.

• Midwestern Theological Journal fee (per semester): $10.00
• Registration fee:
  • For 1-6 credit hours: $55.00
  • For 7+ credit hours: $95.00
• Tuition (per credit hour, for extension courses):
  • For members of SBC churches: $195.00
  • For members of non-SBC Baptist churches: $245.00
  • For members of non-Baptist churches: $320.00

For example: If you’re a taking a 3-hour course and you’re a member of a Southern Baptist church, then your cost would be:**

• Midwestern Theological Journal fee (per semester): $10.00
• Registration fee (for 3 credit hours): $55.00
• Tuition ($195 per credit hour, for 3 credit hours): $585.00

TOTAL: $650.00
